This is my 1992 Typhoon. I am a very proud owner of it. Typhoons were only made in 92 and 93 and around only around 5000 of them were ever made. Typhoons are Factory Hot Rods that are equipped with a 4.3 Liter V6 Turbocharged/Intercooled Engine, TH700-R4 4-spd Automatic with an All Wheel Drive system that makes this Sport Utility Vehicle really launch off the line. They are the quickest production SUV ever.
I have owned my Typhoon for nearly over 6 years now and after i turned a 13.3 @ 98.9 mph on the quarter mile and put down 267 HP and 404 lbs of torque I actually melted a piston after a cylinder leaned out driving down the highway.
So I beefed up the engine in attempt to raise the horsepower and shifting the curve to the right. This way it is not such an elephant driving through the wind past 60 mph.
