My Old 96 Maxima GXE
Traded it in to get my wifes Dodge Magnum... sad to see it go, even my youngest cried to see it go

This is all old info of the car that i had on this site

yes I need rims. the Diamond Cut Bumper lights (from Custommaxima.com) make the car look so much better.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the list of things i have done so far.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before i got into the Maxima all i did was install a Pioneer Deck in place of the stock Nissan non-Bose system with a Pioneer DEH-4100, Vent Visors and a DEI sidwinder 6500 Valet system (remote start, keyless entry, and alarm)

Then i got into the feeling of MAXIMA afer a while of driving it. I even got my friend (who also works with me) to buy a Maxima (99GLE) and I did the following just this year

-Brembo rotors (from www.nissanpartstore.com)
-Nissan pads and hardware (from www.courtesyparts.com)
-All 3 O2 sensors replaced (From nissanpartstore.com)
-Knock Sensor replaced (From nissanpartstore.com)
-NGK Plat Spark Plugs (from courtesyparts.com)
-Fuel Filter replaced (Autozone)
-pcv valve replaced (Autozone)
-Diamond Cut Bumper lenses (from CustomMaxima.com)
-Reverse Indiglow Guadges (From CustomMaxima.com)
-Progress Rear Sway Bar (Vortex Performance)...(actually came from Custom Maxima)
-Strut bar (from e-bay)
-Home made Air Intake (Home Depot)K&N Cone Filter (Autozone)
-Cleaned throttle body
-Full tranny flush and oil flush
-Changed the color of my clock Blue and disabled the dimming of the clock
-Budget Y-Pipe (From www.budgetexhaust.com)

When the cash starts flowing again the next thing will be Rims, shocks and struts, Rear red/clears, and a new front bumper (paint is chiping very badly and there is no foglight holes)

this is the full dash all lit up at night!

Geophrum's 1998 Nissan Maxima

It looks white but it is actually a blue color dont with a small piece of dark purple cellophane

remove the clock from the dash
remove the clock and then remove the clock cover tape the cellophane to the LCD panel and then re assemble

you can get different colors you want by using different color cellophane

Thanks Mad Dhan for the How 2

My car after 8 hours of cleaning claybar, scratch X, Polish and wax

Looks better than it ever has (except for the rims

But worth it!

I will have pictures of it on the car soon along with pics of the old pipe

All you really need is some tint. Then it will look real nice. Mine is basically the same except for interior.
