Try this in your good old SUV? Any Escalades, Navigators, Excursions out there?????? Seen on Martin’s Honda Element on car domain (Member 2630485) - go check his ride out too!

I consider myself the biggest Element fan. I also have worked in the car industry my whole life, even possess a Porsche Mechanic degree from Germany - and always thought this is the answer to mobility concerns! Would have loved to be the product manager at Honda for that car. In my opinion, a lot of times japanese car products are somewhat copying german products in design and technology years later - and mostly better. This Element is something very new and revolutionary - out of everyone's comfort zone! Bought the old EX-P in all black before but wanted something more sporty. Besides, I felt the 4wheel drive was awkward as I was used to Audi's permanent all wheel drive systems. The day the SC came out I wanted one. I made some tasteful edits to the car and I am far away from being done (see list). I am just trying not to do anything wild so I lose my 8 year extended warranty and not to lose the incredible capabilities (see above). A lot of the upgrades diminish the Elements great flexibility to deal with life : motorcycles, bicycles, camping, moving and so on! I don't thing I will ever sell my TOASTER! Hahaha

Inspiration for the SC wheel came from this one - MOMO Storm....a very old design from italy!

Hey there lookin good. I see we have similar taste in our E's and our mods. I'm with you i kinda liked Elements but when i 1st saw an SC, i was like WHOA!! They hit it outta the park with this one. The TL flip key isn't a very hard mod to do. Just go to E.O.C.(Element Owners Club) and look up the thread. It breaks it down step by step and what exactly parts to order with the part #'s. Keep up the good work. I've got a couple things i'm working on for mine next. Stay tuned. ;-)

i actually just went camping over the passed weekend on the 6th and 7th. my friends had set up a tent for all 8 of us to sleep in, and right when we were going to bed, i decided to sleep in my car. thought the tent would be pretty cramped. i flipped down the seats, and threw on a blanket. pretty comfortable too. they thought i was crazy for doing this, but another joined too. last thing i thought was, what if i were to put an air mattress on top of the seats? and it looks like you beat me to it. =)

Your attitude alone tells me that you're going to do some exceptional things to your ride. The Element is by far one of the best blank canvases around to create your own masterpiece. I will definitely check by in and follow your progress! "Great choice!!!" Peace, Chief
