1958 Thunderbird

Biography

This 1958 Thunderbird was found by a friend of ours that collects old caddilacs and old ford model t's and model a's. His neighbors dad had some old cars he wanted to get from his dad and wanted him to help tow them down and in return the guy gave him this 1958 Thunderbird. So after he got the thunderbird we went to go look at it and me and my dad fell in love with it so we decided to buy it and restore it with the help of some friends.  We noticed that it hadn't been registered since 1969 in texas. So the engine was siezed so our friend some how got it started from there we started the body work and found that it had a lot of damage in the back right corner and the front left side that was just filled with body filler. So we sanded it all out and reformed the metal and added a thin coat of body filler to the little dents we couldn't get out. From there we sanded it primed and painted it. while that was all being done we had order some classic white walled tires for it when the painting was finnished along with some new ford hub caps.
