* UPDATED 8/5/09 *
H3 has undergone a bit of a change since last update. Sold off the grille guard, as well as the 20" wheels/tires. I attempted the off-road lifestyle. Just not my style. I came from driving Cadillac's for 10+ years. Off-roading was just not in my blood.
I dropped the entire vehicle 3" all-around. Engineered springs in the front with 3" lowering blocks in the back. Just like the old school lowriders. Quality of ride has not been sacrificed. Actually, seems like it drives better. No leaning through corners, less road noise from the tires, smoother over bumps/holes, etc... Soon to drop it another 1", though. Still too much wheel well, IMO.
In addition, the H3 got new shoes. 24", 3-D "Vomits". Rims courtesy of Mouse over @ GilaWheels.com in Houston. Drop me a message and I can get you his contact info. Or, just look around here on cardomain. His custom designed rims are on just about everything, from Bentley's to Chargers. Unique designs, limited runs, and reliable seller. Wrapped the 24"s in a KUMHO 295/35/24. Even the 5th wheel. Can't stand when someone spends the money on 4 new rims/tires, and then leaves the stock rim/tire on the back with a cover over it like we don't know it's not the original. If you get 4, get 5.
Also added chrome door handles, chrome side mirrors, chrome hood vent, and roof rack.
Still to come are air-intake, in-dash GPS, 35% tint all-around, PCM, and maybe MagnaFlow. Questionable on the MagnaFlow as I'm not a big fan of the incessant rumbling at highway speeds. Have talked with Chaotic Customs out in Houston regarding the color matching on the cladding. Their work is far superior to 99% of everything I've seen, and their prices are easy on the wallet.

2006 HUMMER H3 purchased as is with 20.4k miles. Paid $1 per mile + TT&L. Gotta love capitalizing on depreciation. Monsoon stereo, sunroof, heated leather, 20" rims on NITTO Terra Grapplers, chrome brush guard and step bar, etc...

*The chrome gas cover is not green. It's a reflection from a bus.*

Headed out to a Central Texas ORV Park. Spent quite a few hours in and out of some Level 1-3 trails. Didn't have the stomach for the 4-5's. Still has the paper plates on it.

My better half and our dog, Noodle, prepping for the ride down.

Previous photo was taken at the top of the range in the background.

View from the top. Scenic drive all around. H3 handled like my '03 DeVille. Almost.
