My next project:

1966 Toyota FJ40 landcruiser.  I bought it from a guy in Oregon earlier this year.  Now it is my turn.  My goal is to make it a daily driver and some offroading done for camping and hunting.  Originally a red cruiser and plan on keeping it that color. The following pages describe what the theme is on that page so you can follow or reread a section again.

Page 1: How I received it.

2: Continue with that and the plan.

         3: Hardtop restoration

         4: Auxillary tank installation

         5: Rollbars and other tubing

         6: Body Prep/bedlining

         7: Paint

Here are some of the pics:

Bumpers will be similar to these but not as long and the width on the front has change to 6".  Still plan on using the d-rings, driving lights.

Winch:

Warn 5687.  It is a period correct winch early '70s model from Belleview that Warn bought and made it name from.  Here it is on a hitch cradle that came with it.  No need for the cradle so it was sold on craigslist.

WOW beautiful restore job! I love it when someone takes the time and restores a vehicle with such care. You must not be married or have the world's most awesome, understanding wife (next to mine of course). I can't wait to see the finished Land Cruiser! 5 ***** Stars
