i own a 1988 ford Festiva, and its basically the same car as the mazda 121. i like your 121 alot. the stock engine on that car is a 1.3 SOHC that pushes about 63 horses. it aint much, but the weight is only 1800 pounds. good luck with your mazda. check out my festiva sometime if u got time. also if ur interested, thers another car like ford festiva and mazda 121, its called kia pride, check it out sometime. peace
