1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring "The Sacrifice"

This is the donor car for my 1971 Satellite. This poor car looks ok from the top, but the underside is so rusted that even the frame rails and leaf springs are peeling. I will be using a majority of the parts out of the engine bay, but there will be a lot of parts left over. Jeremy and I plan to strip this car down completely by mid March and then haul whats left to the crusher. We will be parting out a lot of parts from this car. The goal is to get a lot of other Mopars out there looking better and back on the road. If you need some parts, let me know. Believe me, I would save it if it made financial sense, but it is too far gone.

The disassembly begins. Had a couple of hours and the weather was decent. Took care of the inner door panels and the seat belts. UPDATE 3/30: Inbetween our snow storms up here in the Dakotas, Jeremy and I have pulled a lot of parts off this buggy. Have already been contacted by several people on parts, so hopefully we will be getting other mopars fixed up and looking good.

Plans for April include pulling the engine and transmission, pulling the hood and deck lid, cutting off the top for the manual sunroof, and cutting any other sheet metal that could be of use for restoration. The driver floor pan is actually solid, and will work to replace my rusty one.

Finally got some decent weather to get this car out of the back yard and into the garage. Yanked the engine, transmission, brake system, glass, rearend, and just about anything else that we thought could be useable. Whats left of the car is heading to the crusher.

I will be using a lot of parts from this car to restore my 1971 Satellite. Click on my username above to get to my garage.

Alot of that body looks usable especially if you need rear rust patched on your 71.Honestly with my car,the silicone it was raped with is more of a pain in the ass then the rust.lol.Id hate to see a 73-74 be used like that but if it was too far off like you said i approve.ha

You didn't crush it did you, the parts are hard to find and, the quarters are impossible to find.

Do you still have the car? and if you do, do you have the windshield and how's the passenger side door? I definitely could use the Satellite Sebring Badges. . .let me know. . . it's paying hell to find parts for my car. . .
