A new year, a new Miata
1991 BRG, lots of work to do. The nose had a few too many extra curves to it, so I stripped what I could off of it. All in preperation of a paint job in the spring. Racing Beat nose has been ordered. There's only so much I can do while it's winter!
The nose has arrived, a couple small cracks, but that sounds normal from what I've read.
A very wet spring delayed work for a couple weeks but the car is now stripped, and body work started.
Test fit the nose
Home made spray booth, I went with sherwin williams basecoat/clearcoat. I used some furnace filters along the bottom edge of the booth with fans exhausting the air on the other side. Autobodystore.com is a great site for learning all the in's and out's of painting.
