ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier This is what my 2003 base model Cavalier purchased in Dec. 2002 looks like today * NEW PIC SOON! I bought the base model with the intent to make it a high-performance street car (in the next few years). I added the factory spoiler and paid for extra clear coats to protect the paint. I also had the seats scotch guarded so if the kids spill anything it won't stain.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier I add sideskirts. and plan on adding a ram-air Hood for more air induction and to have a more aggressive look.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier My Header and Short Ram Air Intake arrived by UPS and was estimated to arrive between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. and you guessed it....it arrived at 6:59 p.m. The wife stayed home all day waiting for it (what a nice wife).

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet CavalierHere's a picture of the engine with no intake or header and the Throttle Body exposed.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier Here's a look at the 4-2-1 header. I'll have to take a shot of the downpipe later.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier I really like the way the engine looks now with the Warm Air Intake Extened to Cold Air and Header. Stock I ran 16.4 consitantly and my best time was 16.2. now with the mods I have I run consitant 15's with my best time of 15.7 on street tires. (*yet to run it with the cold air converstion)

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier K & N Cone Filter! You can also see it fit in the old "bong hole" behind the battery. I had to remove the bumper to add the extension for cold air.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet CavalierHere's a picture without the bumper cover.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier The cold air comes threw the lower vent where the fog light would be

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier*This is what it looks like off track.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier The lower motor mount. I need to get the upper one in.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier Once I'm done with the engine I'm going to finish upgrading my suspension. So far just B&G 1.4 in. lowering springs. Strut braces will be the first thing.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier white face gauges is all I have done to the interior. I did upgrade to a factory CD player. I'm focusing on the engine first although I did add a Air/Fuel Ratio guage since I added header and down-pipe.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier Here's a look at my A/F gauge in daylight. It lights up indeglow blue.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier My new Metal Shifter.

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier C/F Side Mirrors

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier I now have a Dual cat-back Maganflow/RK Sport exhaust. I need to go back to the track to beat my best time of 15.7

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier Here's another look at the Dual cat-back Maganflow/RK Sport exhaust and C/F tail lights.

That's it for now.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ecotec's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier This is what I'm building towards. I like the clean sporty look of this Turbo Concept GM Cavalier and want to make my car look like this. This kit maybe released soon through GM. I'm not really into big kits. I'll probably never be turbocharged, but that's not going to stop me from building one fast all-motor Cavalier! Maybe even Supercharged!
