DIY Custom Cupholder
First get a Nissan Sentra slide-out cup holder like this or one that is similar from another car. There are plenty in the junk yard.

Next, either use your CRX center console or get another from the junk yard. Cut off the back 1½ inch or so. Just cut off enough so the tray fits snugly inside.

The tray has screw hole in it so I drilled holes in the side of the console and screwed the tray to it. Once that was done I slid the cup holder out of the tray and made a faceplate out of Plexiglas. You can use any kind of material you want, but I had plexi laying around and it has a texture that is close to the center console. I cut a rectangular hole in the plexi and then glued it to the front on the console and slide the cup holder back into the tray.

Finally, I painted it with black interior paint and installed it in the car.
