This is my 94 Laguna Blue Miata, which I've owned since the fall of 1999.
During the summer of 1999, I was searching for a sports car and considered Supras, 300Ztt, and VR4/Stealths. I recall test driving a 350+ hp 300Ztt and thinking "my gawd this thing hauls" but walked away feeling like it was missing something.
A few months later I was visiting a friend in Redmond and on a whim checked the Seattle Times classifieds. There it was--a 94 Laguna and tan C pkg 5sp--the exact Miata I had spec'ed out IF I decided to buy a Miata. Although it was 9pm, a short call and 30 minutes later I was admiring it up close and then driving my first Miata. It bared its soul and I knew I'd found what was missing.
