This is the Quest as it was the day I brought it home. Not looking to good. Hasnt seen much love in a while now. Was sitting at the bottom of a hill hiding in an auto grave yard. Not a junk/salvage yard. This guy had to be finagaled really hard to get this from him. It is missing a fender on the drivers side. Well its in the back and smashed kinda bad. but thats not a big deal.

Normal Paint faid for having been just sitting ther sun baithing for I don't know how many years. Gonna need to send the rear shock assembly to TEP to have them do the conversion so it will sit up correctly. And Get some new tires all around.

The leather has seen better days for sure. I dont know if I will be able to rostore the form on the seats. They have shunk quite a bit over time. Again just baking in the sun. Else where inside is not to bad, just a little dirty. Might just find some black leather racing seats to take their place. I have some harnesses and a nice wheel all in black from a previous build that I never used. Should work fine.

This is the donor car for the swap I will be doing. Going to pull out the head, all the sensors and the engine harness with the ECU. Also have a 2.4 wideblock for the bottom. This car also has a decent front mount on it with some nice piping I should be able to put in use. Couple other goodies on here as well.

It in pretty nice shape. No fading on the interior or any tears. Has a new tranny and rear diff. Havent looked to see if its a four or three bolt.

This is the 4G64 wide block I will be using. It will bolt to my Quest trans for a nice RWD 4G64.3T combo

The block is out of a 96 Mighty Max. It is beautiful other than some oil on the outside. Should be able to do just what I am looking for it to do. The crank should be able to get a light polish and new bearing to be ready.

Got the Wiseco pistons that are for the DOHC swap on the 4G64. They are standard bore as the block is in near perfect shape and only needed a hone job.

Also the Manley rods for the 7bolt bottom end. very nice quality here. Highly recomend these.

Some ACL race bearings for the rod and mains, also in standard size. The bottom end I have is In wonderful shape really.

The complete Gasket set. Guess I clicked the wrong one in the order form as it didnt come with the cometic head gasket. Will have to get one of these.

The ARP head studs that will be hold it all together during the abuse.

The chip that a found in the ECU when I checked to see if it was e-prom or not, and it was :) Not sure if I am going to use this chip or not as it is more than a year old and they dont have the file any more on what it is programed to.

These showed up the other day. They are going to be fantastic!
Got them in 17x7 for the front and 17x 9 for the rear. They should look really sweet. Going to go get the tires ordered tomorrow after work. Already have them priced and ready for the payment.

Some test fit of the new rims. Had to see if my guess measurements were correct and they were! Once the tires and billet spacers show up they will be fitted to thier new home.

Got the new sterring wheel in. Able to use an old eclispe mount kit and hub. Looks so much better than the factory setup. Also had to get a shift knob. the old one was a pos cheap one from the previous owner.

Here is the turbo I am going to run for now. Its a super 20g with a t4 hotside. Yes a cheap ebay unit. Just needs to hold together for a while till I get it all setup for the gt35r.
