This is my current project - a 1990 Ford Bronco II XLT 4x4. I got it on the cheap needing "tranny work" (I don't know where you can get that sort of thing this side of Las Vegas).

Picked it up in the end of January 2009. First things first - get it driving. Started out with an "engine running, clutch out, tranny in gear - no move" condition. On the way to diagnosing it as a failed clutch I also discovered that the electric shift motor for the 4WD was bad and the previous owner had failed an attempted diagnosis and in the process pulled out the shifter with the transmission in 2nd gear, and put it back in the neutral position. As a result it seemed to be stuck in neutral, until I used a screwdriver to push the 1-2 shift rod back to neutral.
This was the day I got it, still on the trailer.

Jacked up on all four corners, carpet pulled out for floor access...

At one point I got frustrated with the clutch job and started a car audio install with stuff I had laying around. Details on page 4.

This barely recognizable bolt is just an example of why one would get frustrated with this task and work on a project that has no impact on getting the thing driveable. I don't think I've ever seen an exhaust system this rusty. Thank God the rest of the car isn't like this.
This is how the truck looks now, running as my daily driver when the weather keeps me off the motorcycle.

Next page is the what happened when I pulled the transmission to replace the clutch.
