I attended the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Reserve Component (RC) Officer Basic Course (OBC) at Fort Sam Houston & Camp Bullis, Texas, 2-14 Jan 2005. The AMEDD Reserve OBC is an intense 2-week course providing both didactic and hands-on training to better prepare you for future assignments as a staff officer, clinician, leader, or other specialty positions of responsibility within the Army.

Oath of Office for Regular Army Commission, Army Nurse Branch [3/31/2006]

LOL, my wife needed a little prep time with the digital camera before we stepped inside the US Army Health Care Recruiting Station in Seattle, WA.

It was an honor for LTC Warren to be the official that administered my oath ceremony. Before being mobilized he was my Critical Care OIC & Senior Rater at the 5501st USAH, my prior reserve unit.

SFC Gore & CPT Shavers are both outstanding Army Health Care Recruiters and were very helpful in my process to Regular Commission. I wish I'd taken pics of my Reserve Commission at the San Antonio AHCR Station back on 09/25/2003. However, with the help of my beautiful [proof below] wife I have some memorable ones this time.

After all the documents had been signed & photo op completed Susan & I spent the afternoon in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
