Euro Clear Taillights
Modern Performance Clear Center Brake Light
Clear Parking Light Markers
Suspension:
Tein Super Street Struts w/16 Way Damper Control, 1.8in Drop
5Zigen 18x7.5 Heidfeld II Rims
Hankook K106 H80 R18/35/215
Body:
SRT-4 Mid Rise Spoiler
Tinted Glass 5% Rear/15% Front
The vehicle was given to me from my parents the same year (100% stock). I believe to find the Neon as a car with plenty of potential but completely ugly stock, reminded me of a granny vehicle. So modifying or selling the vehicle were my options.
My father purchased the vehicle in early 2001 used for the price of ($1500) with only 10,000mi odometer reading, the reason being as it was involved in the heavy flood of 2001 here in Naples, Italy. Besides it being flooded with mud from the interior out only a few minor electrical problems were found to be repaired: Dash Cluster; A/C switch; A/C Fan; Defrost Switch; Stereo/Speakers; Radiator Fan; Fluids all Flushed by Chysler (AutoMax of Naples, Italy). The interior was completely removed and cleaned with carpet cleaner and a professional vapor vacume (rented) for 3 days with a perfect result.

Photo 2/3: The Neon finally started to receive serious attention with the following mods:
Suspension:
Deyeme Racing Shorter Shaft Links (Rear Sway Bar)
Exhaust:
Vibrant Performance Dual Axl Back Muffler
Intake:
K&N CAI Typhoon
Lighting:
OEM Fog Lights
Body:
Body: Shaved Fender Antenna/ Entire Vehicle Repainted/ Debadged Door Panels
M3 Mirrors (Painted) with Power Mirror/Turn Signal
BMW (Painted) Functional Sharkfin Antenna

Photo 4: Front view showing its high gloss paint job.
Photo 5: 5zigen Heidfeld II close up shot.

Photo 6/7: Finally i had to break down and order the ground effects kit from Kaminari (late 2008). The exposed exhaust pipe noted (Photo 2) was leaving the vehicle with an unfinished look making the kit essential. Finally my Neon is starting to gain a european look with the intention to avoid a japanese fitting.

Photo 8/9: The Vibrant Performance Exhaust and Kaminari Rear Lip Kit fit perfectly with no modification to either the body or exhaust. Additional modifications have been made (early 2009):
By the way the trunk is perfectly aligned but not latched all the way in the picture.
SRT-4 Badge (useless)
Suspension:
Prothane Bushing Kit Red
Eibach Anti-Roll Kit Front (24mm Bar) Rear (19mm Bar); for some odd reason the vehicle was equiped with a stock rear swaybar even it being a Plymouth Neon Highline, besides the fact replacing was needed for the tooth pick swaybar (guessing 12mm). The vehicle handles as good as a BMW M Series, I have had the oppurtunity to drive many vehicles from Porsche, Audi's, BMW M Series and not to exclude any Mercedes AMG's. (Build quality and power is a different story but $12,000 vs. $55,000 well!!!!)
Ignition:
MSD Blaster Ignition Coil Pack
Engine:
Dress-Up Kit: Braided Stainless Steel Hoses; Polished Aluminum Oil Cap; Aluminum Radiator Brackets; Anodized (Red) Bolts
Deyeme Racing Sport Motor Mounts (Upper\Lower) Red
Intake:
AEM Bypass Valve

Photo 10/11: Trim was left to protect the vehicle from daily driving and city parking even though it may dull the total image, better to have a minor scratch than a dent (luckily none at the moment).
