This is a 1950 Chevy Sedan Delivery
Built by James Moore III and freinds. Fresno, ca. for his dad(me). James took over the build when I relized he knew he could do her good. The sedan had been in the family for 7 years and was going really slow.
James came to Salinas, ca. and drove her to Fresno to a freind , threw a new skin on her along with the flames, front glass and new chrome.
When she returned I started working on the 383 which had found a home in her a year before. Along the way a 400 turbo(miss my 200 slip and slide) was place behind. This year 2009 found a posi 411 10 bolt 8.5 with 30 spline axle readend( now now the world is indeed round folks) being slid under her. Now a need for a upgraded trans cross member( the one I had made is very weak), longer stiffer front springs(mustang 2) and a set of traction bars. Take her front bumber off. Give the battery a stonger home and really screw down the bass speaker the son and freinds loaded on board.
Her doors lock elec., the inside is done, 1978 el camino bench seat, disc's up front, russian ash floors and a moon skull shifter knob ontop a gennie 3 speed shifter. One never ends the job it just grows more as he reaches the end.
Ok everyone new update:
Now she had a built up(stronger stuff inside)700R4 installed(2800 stall), whew what a differance, 1st gear is wild! Rasied the front end up 6 inches. Upgraded the cross member and ...............had her front window sealed up real nicely. No more leaks!
