I have only had the truck for a year and 5 months the first year was just performance mods in the first year i got a Diablo sport tuner a homemade intake tube with a K&N filter and Air Raid TB Spacer and a flowmaster Delta Flow 40, those were the first mods I did within the first 3 months of having the truck. After that I would just read around online and found out about E-Fans so I started to research and instead of using ls1 fans I used some off a 03 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS with HD Cooling and rigged my own harness from components from perma cool and from speed scene wiring the rest from local auto part store big gain better on MPG and more power pulled a lot Harder off the line and on the mid the and also got some Headers from Pacesetter (they cracked in less than a year) saving up for JBA Headers. Then Came a LS6 Cam/LS6 Yellow Springs from SDPARTS and Manley 7.4 Push Rods those also went on with some casting 706 heads with a port and polish job and ls6 ported oil pump and a Torque Converter from a Chevy TB L6 works great with cam and just had a retune done on my Diablo Tuner. After all this mods I blew my rear end so I went with a Eaton Posi. Other small mods were like NGK TR-55IX Plugs and Taylor 409 Wire Set with boot protectors from keefeperformance and a vette servo and shift kit from transgo all these mods were done on a 4.8. My next mods would be to get a 5.3 or 6.0 and get a MagnaChanger and which I would keep some of this mods and would get a Nelson Tune I got many of my ideas from LS1TRUCK the best site for GM Trucks and SUV’s!!!
