IF ANYONE'S INTERESTED IN LAYING OUT THEIR 2003+ LINCOLN TOWN CAR LIKE MINE, LET ME KNOW. I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SWAPPING OUT MY ENTIRE FRAME WITH A STOCK ONE AND DOING HYDRAULICS AND A DIFFERENT IRS.
REAR: 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII IRS, widened and modified to bolt in to Town Car frame.
FRONT: built from scratch cradle (crossmember), motor mounts, lower control arm mounts, rack and pinion, etc... Tubular upper and lower control arms to narrow track width and camber to clear fenders. Custom bag mounts and upper control arm mounts water-jetted.
Lays VERY HARD on 22" Incubus Shylocks.
Front and rear suspension all raised up to be able to cut 3/4" off bottom off frame to lay pinch molding, but would need to notch aluminum hood for tires since they are hitting now. It's low enough for now I think. I just want to drive it and enjoy it for awhile.
Near future plans include installing wheelwells in the front, build custom engine cover with Hot Rod style intake. Fiberglass speakers into door panels and rear package tray and t.v's in headrest. Then getting entire car repainted black.
Would like to get a feature in LOWRIDER MAGAZINE, eventhough it doesn't have hydraulics, YET...
