Suspension:
Engine and horsepower is what most gearheads talk about, but a Miata/roadster is about handling. The Miata has an awesome stock suspension, but with the increased power, dive and lift is excessive.
Custom "P1" SRP pedals with a matte finish. It's one of the best mods I have made. During heel-and-toe downshifting, the pedals keep your feet from sliding off. The set includes a gas pedal extension, which makes it much easier to heel-and-toe.

The system allows stroke adjustment on top of spring adjustment and damping. The stroke adjustment will allow lowered Miatas to be setup off the bump stops.
Install was a breeze, the tough part was getting the setup of ride height, shock travel at nominal ride height, and corner weights correct.

Ride is improved, mostly from not riding on the bump stops. Shock damping feels right on, at the mid settings. Handling was transformed with this setup as compared to the Koni coilover setup previously on the car.
The interior is very simple. The rollbar is a BSP competition bar. The a-pillar pod has two gauges - VDO water temp and boost. A small oil temp gauge rests below the radio along with a Greddy turbo timer.
The steering wheel is a Momo Competition. Two small LEDs are mounted under the gauge cluster for a shift light and Aquamist failure indicator.

Buddy Club racing seats with Schroth Rallye Cross harness. The Buddy Club seats ($385 retail each) are bucket race seats that weigh 11 lbs each. The seats are mounted on the stock sliders with simple "L" brackets. The normal size Buddy Club seat is very narrow. I recommend the "wide" version for those that are not considered skinny. The seats have ample padding, which makes them comfortable for street use.
The 4 point harness are Schroth Rallye Cross. The harness is the only DOT legal 4 point harness on the market. Schroth's patented ASM technology prevents submarining under the lap belts in a collision. The Rallye Cross retails for ~$150 each.
A custom Westach dual gauge is used to monitor AFR and EGT.
Wilwood 4 pot calipers are used up front with stainless braided lines. The rear brakes are 2001 Miata sports.
