My 1st truck with Mt. Shasta, California
I've been a driver for Gordon Trucking since June of '08. I drive more miles in a day than most people do in a week.
Our fleet consists mostly of Freightliner Columbias with "condo" sleepers.
This truck has a 14 liter Detroit 60 series with 1,650 ft lbs
of torque and has a 10-speed transmission
My first tractor with my car for a size comparison; 20,000lbs vs 2,700 lbs (and 7 mpg vs 30 mpg!)
Got this truck in August. It's a nice upgrade from my previous trucks as it's equipped where I don't have to idle the big noisy Detroit for heat or a/c!
