Here she is with both sway bars removed.
I'm running a Rusty's 3" lift with AALs. Eventually will ugrade to full leaf packs when they start sagging. I have the lift bug again though and will be upping it to 4.5-5" real soon.
Also have some aftermarket LCA's and UCA's that will be going in as soon as I figure out how much lift.
Other mods are a 3core GDI aluminum radiator and drop in K&N filter. Already have a conical filter, just working out the best cold air setup. Just bought a Perma-Cool 14" performance electric fan with adjustable thermostat. This units pushes a est 2950cfm, more than enough to help her cool down while wheeling. I have some 31's on her now that I had laying around from my previous truck. I will be getting another set of 31's by the summer.
**EDIT- I have sinse did the elec fan and hated every minute of it. I drove it around in late summer heat for a couple of weeks. It kept it cool, but not enough in my opinion. I put everything stock back on and replaced my factory Clutch fan with a HAYDEN unit. It has made more of a difference than the elec fan as far as cooling.**
**EDIT I have upgraded my tires to Dunlop Mud Rovers. 31x10.5, and they are great. I will get some pics up soon of them in the dirt. On rainy roads I'd swear they were glued to the street. Great traction.**
The best thing about the XJ's are how easy they are to mod. They also react very well to free mods like removing the air silencer in the factory box and removing the rear swaybar. I have a 88 Mustang GT and a 96 GMC Sierra (daily driver) and the XJ is much easier to work on than either of the others.
