Welcome to the home of Oskar, the 1983 Mercedes Benz 240D Diesel.

He is all tricked out, power windows, moonroof, 4 speed manual transmission. Comfortable sheepskin seat cover. Everything you need. Actually, he is pretty stock. Very classic looking. White, with matching white hubcaps.

My biggest bragging right is the fact that the car has 325,000 miles, something a normal Jap or American car couldn't touch.

The car was free and at one time had severe rust damage, but I have fixed that myself and now the car only has mostly minor rust spots left, with only a couple of spots that need actual fiberglass remanufacture. That can be dealt with on warmer, nice days. Currently no pictures, but will have pictures soon.
Sound system is made totally of all German manufactuers, and is focused towards sound clarity and highs, instead of bass, which I will work on later. My head unit is a Blaupunk Santa Fe CD32 with 45 max watts per channel. It blends in well within my dash, and its lighting even matches my dash lighting.
Speakers are of the highest quality. The rear deck house two MB Quart DKD 146 Coaxial speakers. A 4x6 woofer with butyl rubber surrounds, driven by molybidnum magnets, and a titanium dome tweeter for sweet high notes that never cut out. The two front speakers are DKD 110 4 inch round coaxials, with basically the same characteristics as the speakers in the rear. My next project will be to add MB Quart 6.5 inch woofers in either the back deck, or in the doors. I really have no idea.
Of course, all my products are German made, just like the 240D.

Well, that's the 240D. I may have more pics soon. Nothing special, just a classic driver that can take a hell of a beating and still looking good.
PS..I put bullets in ballas domes.

Reliable they are..my 240D has only 74k miles on it after all these years and it still runs pretty well. Of course the only downfall is the 67 hp, I was considering selling mine and getting a later model of the 190E.
