This has been a weekend project of mine for about 5 years. More photo's to follow as I continue to Modify/Customize this Hilux:
*
(Aug 17th) Since the engine sits back the air cleaner doesn't fit in the right direction. Not sure If I will go with another style but once I change the COBRA to HILUX (in a vertical position) it should look pretty good.

Replaced the sheet metal in the floor, installed the shifters, painted the lettering on the knobs and installed the starter motor:

I was able to use the stock Toyota Throttle cable, it was way to long but was able to shorten it. Still need to make a bracket to support the cable and install a spring to pull the linkage back......

(Aug 14th) Transmission and Transfer Case are in, fabricated a bracket for the transfer case mount:

The radiator and electric fan is going to be a challange, not much room. Clearance for the exhaust looks good:

This R150F is a little longer, the holes for the shifter's don't quite line up:

(Aug 10th) Dropped the motor in this weekend, this 5.0L 302 will put out around 325hp and 365ft-lbs of torque:

Got the Bellhousing, R150F Transmission, Centerforce Clutch Assembly and mounted the Transfer Case:

Installed a Marlin Crawler High Crossover Steering Kit. And IFS Gear Box off a 4Runner from the local salvage yard:

Saturday, 16 May 2009 I started on the V8 Conversion (Ford 5.0L 302). Tuff little engine but the 20R is history:
