This GTO was purchased in 1964 by my father at the pocket ponding price of $2,900.00 his payments were $80 a month. If only they still made them like this at that price...
This car was parked in the garage in 1978 (Still had the tags on the bumbers) there it sat until my father and brother decided it was time to bring the beast back to life..
This is the way that it came from the factory with the exception of adding the tri-power package.
A replacement 389 from a 66 goat was used as the doner motor, but don't worry guys the origanal motor has been kept and is complete for a matching numbers car.. It is documented as a one owner car with PHS.. so 389 4 speed car from 1964..
I love this car now especialy since I remember going for sunday drives as a kid.. I would not make any changes if the car was mine..
