if i was in the market for a really good radar detector, there's only 2 i'd be looking at. 1 is the Passport 9500ix (costs around $499.99) but is well worth it since you never have to buy a new radar detector ever again since you can update that one to keep up with new technologies check this bad mofo out at www.escortradar.com. 2 would be Valentine radar detector. though no where near as bad ass as the Passport, it does have a few key features that put it a few notches above regu;ar radar detectors, check it out at www.zapzap.valentine1.com. Personally, when it comes to radar detectors, in my opinion, if you don't buy the very very best you can get, it isn't even worth spending $150.00 on a cheap one.
