Here is my 86' 442 that I bought in 02' complete with a rod knock and a rebuilt 350th. I had bought it for the rear, steering box, rims and a few other things to transfer over to my 78' but ended up switching my focus to the 442. I had a 71' 350 built up to match the Peformer RPM package but I didn't get to enjoy that because it had got stolen without the engine being broken in. When I got it back the engine was knocking and blowing smoke, but still had some crazy power to it. Since then I had built a 403 (the engine I wanted in the first place) with some tips from a couple guys on www.realoldspower.com (Dr. Dan, Terry ay FCR,Smitty at MJ Performance,Jim at J&S Machine and a few others). For the trans I have a 350TH with a B&M 2400(soon to be 3000) stall that's connected to a 8.5" rear with 3.73's and posi. I'm hoping for at least low 13's on it's first outing to the track, but pretty sure it should run 12's comparing the combo to g-body's with similar combo's. On my page you will find everything that will be put in to this car and all steps as it's being done. Thanks for stopping by.

Front shot of of the 442. I have an 87' front clip waiting, for the finishing touch. I'll be installing an air/heat delete panel to clean up alot of that emissions clutter. When all is said and done, when this hood gets lifted, you'll know what its all about

Here I am cleaning up the toro pan getting it ready for paint. You can see the toro pan has been lengthened a bit at the bottom.

Taking a quick ride on the "ROCKET"

The 403 waiting to get dropped in, just waiting for head gaskets, cam, and timing chain. Shown here is the 4 main Halo Girdle I got from Jim at J&S Machine (added protection plus crank scrapper), and Comp Cam roller rockers I'll be painting the whole block olds gold, including the performer RPM intake, and grinding off all letters. I'm trying to keep a sleeper image, but dont sleep on this one.

You will see taillights!!!!!!
DYNO NUMBERS ARE IN!!!!!!!
