9/12/09 - Built a custom mount for my PSP. Took a piece of sheet metal and bent it up to hold it, then wrapped it in black carpeting. If you couldn't tell, I'm all about cheap/free mods. (They may not be the best but hey I made it and I'm learning more than the guy who just buys a part)
9/11/09 - New starter! Works but I had to buy a push button because my wiring is screwed up somewhere lol. The never ending project........love it.
9/9/09 - Drove to school and back and had the car stall infront of my house. ECU error code 9.........what the h? Just rebuilt the dizzy a week ago but threw in an extra I had lying around and worked better than the rebuilt one. Still need a starter lol.
9/8/09 - So I've been gone all summer with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps from Denver, CO. Great summer but I missed my car lol. Got back to find out my starter went out during the heat of the summer.....nothing like push starting your car every day lol. New updates on the car: 1) finally got around to getting the rear toe straightened out. Turns out when the previous owner did the Integra rear brake swap, he put the rear compensators on the wrong sides of the car. Switched them around so the shorter one is on the driver side and now I'm driving straight, not sideways down the road lol. 2) Finally got all the door trim from the yard. 3) Striped tail lights from the yard that were broken and now kinda fixed lol. Cheap mod. 4) Lower front strut bar attached.
3/23/09 - Installed the Dual 600 Watt 4 channel amp.
3/21/09 - Installed the 12" JVC sub, JVC deck and painted interior trim.
3/09/09 - Picked up carpet at Wallworld for $18. Now it's quiet, clean and you can actually feel the heat from the heater.
3/08/09 - Painted the car but had some spatter on the last coat, might clear coat it or completely re-paint it.
3/07/09 - I had a really bad tire noise while turning left and couldn't figure out what the problem is. All the bolts were tight, camber good, toe in good. Then I decided to push on the tire and I heard a clicking noise. Found out the spindle was bad and was causing the noise. Swaped a new one from the junk yard and no noise, no vibration.
3/05/09 - Sanded and primered the whole car. Hopefully if the wind stops blowin I'll paint it on Sunday. Paint choice is Midnight Black Pearl. Also relocated the tach to sit in the dash rather than flopin around on the door rail.
3/03/09 - Fixed the rear bumper, intake, installed tach, side skirts pulled from junk yard, bolted doors on, found a window.
2/22/09 - Bought the new ride. Lots of work to be done.
