    In my quest for better accelaration i have been shaving weight off myself and the car, rear wiper motor and arm, spare tyre & electric punp all sound deadening ( amazed at the weight ), rear seat belts and any unecessary trim have been removed, Also i have switched to 99 octane fuel.I have orderd acoustic sound deadening carpet and clips and i will make a replacement rear hatch carpet, will post pics when done.

    I have now removed the 4 piece rear spoiler to colour code.If you are thinking of doing this mod BEWARE, the nuts rust onto the clips that secure the trim and when you try to undo them the clips break, even after soaking in penetrating oil!Porscheshop my usual supplier of parts were very unhelpfull and said the clips were unobtainable but the would sell me the complete spoiler kit for £400.I made new clips my self at no cost.

    Looking good, but i have grey rear seats still so i am going to make my own rear seat delete option.This option was not available on the 944 but came along with the 968 club sport, the parts often come up on ebay but for a lot of money.With the rear seats removed i have made a frame and fitted a hinged lid.

    As i like to be different i am continuosly modifying my car, the first thing i have done is replace the grey interior with black.this meant replacing all carpets, door cards, centre console, i have made a new headlining out of black leatherette, i have a new dash but have yet to fit it.The front seats have been changed for custom made red/black leather electric sports seats.

    Classic car show at Barton water mill with 3 Counties Radio presenter, the lovely Lorna Milton. To view this show visit picasa web albums & search rapidstuI have been using a K&N panel in a modified air box, just junked it and made my own cold air induction set up,  just a 70mm stub into the air flow meter pipe with a big K&N on the end.

    So far to improve performance i have modified the air box and added a K&N panel filter, hayward & scott stainless steel de-cat pipe and dansk sports rear silencer.The promax chip will have to wait!Under the bonnet there is also a  KLA strut brace from the U.S of A. and uprated boge springs 25mm shorter than standard.

    Air ducts and back plates for the front brakes. Great after 2 hours stripping the front end off the car i find that the ducts from Renlist in the USA are wrong.  Also theres an oil cooler and water bottle that are in the way and need moving!After chatting to renlist i find that the ducts cable tye behind the bumper, looks awfull, think i can do better.
