Alright so on 9/26/2009 a very young girl, out of state driver as well, was sitting in an intersection getting ready to make a left hand turn. Out of poor judgment, stupidity or a death wish she attempted to make a left hand turn between myself and the car infront of me, both heading in the opposite direction of her. Not only was it raining, but there was not enough space between us in normal driving conditions. She also did not begin her turn til I was already in the intersection and therefor floored her ford escape (mini-suv) to compensate for her lateness in her turn. She nailed my driver's door head on and I spun and the back of my car hit a brick wall ("Wecome to Abington" sign on Old York Rd). My door is appx 1 foot inwards and pushing against my driver's seat. I obviously survived but with only stitches to my left eye region and a messed up neck, back, shoulder and left leg. My passenger and I both had concussions (her eighth, very bad news).
As far as the car goes, there was no damage to the motor whatsoever, nor to the hood or shaker system at all, so those are for sale. The entire front of the car beyond the front left fender is flawless but the right side and rear of the car are obviously messed up so the car is totalled. I also took out my head unit and that is also for sale, no damage to it at all.
Hello I'm Colin, this is my Yellow/Black 2001 Mustang GT. I purchased her in March 09. Like all proud car owners, this is my baby. My pride and joy. Alot of time and effort go into this car, as the same with my previous cars.
No matter what anyone says, a true car owner never takes a 'break' from their cars. You may not be putting money into cosmetic or performance upgrades, but you are constantly working on her. Whether changing oil, cleaning your bay, polishing, waxing, buffing, clay barring or just flat out washing, you are always working on your car.
