So my parents bought this car for me when i turned 16 as my first car wouldn't want it any other way, its a 1978 Chevy Nova with a 350 small block, holley 650 cfm carb, edelbrock intake manifold, i believe the owner before me put in a high performance cam haven't checked for sure, 4:11, 8.5'', 10-bolt rear end( posi is coming next or mini spool lol), cherry bomb exhaust, small tach, and other small things. Originally it was a silver, I6. Right away i had several problems to fix and its been a great learning experience to work on it with my dad. Since i've got it, we've made several fixes starting with getting the TH-350 Tranny rebuilt by Dirty Dans Trans with new torque converter, flywheel, rebuilt carb, new front tires, battery, alternator, starter, etc...
***Update***
Well after replacing the spark plug wires, spark plugs, cap, rotor, water pump, etc, etc, etc, belts, new rear tires almost time for new ones less then a month later lol no more parking lot drifting for me haha, windsheild, uh thats all i can remember so far...

-After body work is done i was thinking about a satin flat black (like a very dark black)
-all chrome trime(door handles, bumpers, etc you know)
-Fiberglass Cowl Hood either (2 1/2'' or 3 1/2'') from:
http://www.up22.com/nova75.htm
-smooth out those cheap looking fins behind the window so it flows smooth
- 3'' Exhuast side pipes(full length) with tear drop ends, chromed
(i'll make it simple with no muffler, till i get a ticket then i'll maybe consider making it legal lol)
-No idea's yet for the rear half of the car but i feel it's kinda left out and needs to be modded
something to make it differen't, again any suggestions or ideas is appreciated thanks
-Just a idea for now but possible making a dense black wire mesh and mount the turn signals
behind the grill. Or thin, tightly spaced billet grill.... If i can find one
-As for interior thats to much to get into right now lol, though new bucket is my only major
issue. seat covers work for now
(well to be honest i wish it looked this clean lol, body work coming soon)
Interior needs work, since this pic i put on seat covers, nice speakers, and a nice deck. I think today i'll go buy a shift knob too lol i'm thinking a 8 ball lol
Replacing heater cores isn't that much fun
Ya it was in bad shape and leaked alot and made a mess
Story is i bought these headers from a friends for $40, sat in his yard for months and rusted bad
I spent alot of time hand sanding... then i found the wonder of sand blasting lol My School's shop had a sand blaster i spend 3 hours sand blasting them both which finished the one in the upper right and after about 2 hours of finishing hand sanding it they look like the lower left header. This was my next project to built a full custom exhaust with manual exhaust cut outs lol
