I just picked up a 1990 Gti 1.8 8v. Exterior isnt too bad on rust, it will still see a new coat of paint, interior is really clean. Windsheild is cracked, but came with a new oem one. 200k miles on it and still running good :thumbsup:

Im going to be looking to make it as OEM looking as possible but still stand out abit. Right now in still planing things out on paper to make a 100% sure plan and do it right.

Now the begining of some work.
I began ripping out all the extra wire that has collected over the last 18 years lol. Also im going to start tucking the wires in the frame rails, removing the AC system and relocating the fluid bottles out of sight.
