This is my 93 Dodge Daytona IROC,
This is what she looked like before I drove it off the lot, as you can see the smoked cover that goes over the third brake light is missing. :(

Pictures were taken after a wash and a good wax. Window tint was installed and I couldn’t have picked a better time it was hotter than h*** and I had no AC. You’re supposed to keep your windows up for a few days to make sure the adhesive sticks. I also bought a used third brake light housing off of ebay and installed it, works great!

This is the power plant, the boring ol 3.0 liter found in many Chrysler vehicles. It’s got some power but I’m having some issues with power loss, fuel pump went out 450.00 for a replacement. After replacing it there seems to be a bit more prep to it but not a huge increase, I can’t even spin the tires on wet pavement. I did a complete transmission fluid flush and refill ATF+3 and filter, it seemed to shift a little better after that. A few weeks later the transmission computer fizzled out and I replaced it, no more limp mode! I replaced MAP, TPS, AIS motor cleaned out the intake plenum and throttle body, still has power loss issues.

After purchasing the car and doing a little bit of work on it I decided to tackle the headlamp issue, I purchased a good used driver side headlamp for $10.00 Bucks! The passenger side lamp was $89.00, which came off of a LeBaron.

The only differences I have seen in the two headlight assembly are the light aiming tabs on the front and the vents on the top and bottom. The headlight adjusters for the LeBaron are identically the same but are longer than the ones found on Daytona’s, you’ll also notice that the end that pops into the plastic mounting bracket screwed into the rear of the headlamp is longer than the ones found on Daytona’s. These are easily interchangeable, you don’t necessarily have to switch these out in order to use a LeBaron light assembly. These same adjusters can be found in the newer style LHS and Fifth Avenue vehicles, mine had corroded away over time from weathering and didn’t work, so off to the local salvage yard I went!
