Hello All this is my page of my 70 camaro, I have owned this for five years and the restomod has been going on for over 3 years. I have done much of he work myself and with the help of friends. Please drop me a note (encourage me to keep going!) any suggestions are always welcome.

Robert

Here she is just out of paint, I used 1969 Dupont Chromalusion cortez silver with three coats of clear, paint by Bartons in Alpha Illinois

I pulled the front subframe, bead blasted, ground the hideous factory welds down and reinforced. I used a 2 part base clear Dupont in late 90's charcoal (Chevy) to contrast the lighter silver body color. I switched to manual steering, new pitman, new Moog tie rods, the whole works. Used Urethane Energy Suspension components throughout.

I used Speedtech uper tubular control arms, Air Ride strongarms for lowers. QA1 coilovers, Edlebrock  solid rod sleeves.

SSPC dual piston aluminum brakes, new idler arm.

Tremec TKO600 5 speed with McCloud shatterbroof bellhousing, here is a shot of the engine going in. 468 Big Block 537 HP

Electric water pump, Billet everthing, Aluminum RPM Heads (rect port) Roller rockers, 2 1/4 headers ceramic coated, msd Pro billet, MSD6AL2, Quick Fuel 820 CFM carb.

3/22/09 update here she is back from The glass shop, front and rear glass are in with new stainless trim, sorry for the black and white photos the camera got messed around with by the kid.

check your axle for something most people don't know about these cars.the axle sits farther in on one side than the other that can cause tire rubbing issues. nice 5*
