Well, it was going to be a parts car for the wagon, but I could not bring myself to junk it. It wasn't running when I went to see it. In fact, it was in a snowbank, a 4ft deep snowbank in Corinth, NY when I went to go check it out. I paid the owner $200. The next week I picked it up and took it home. Also 1 minor detail, I and my friend shoveled 200 square feet of snow in front of it. I got it home, found it had compression as I was told it didn't have, changed the starter two times, and cranked away. The car came with new injectors and glow plugs installed. I kept cranking and the next day she started!!!!! A ROADLEGAL MERCEDES FOR ONLY $200!!! SO FAR MY CHEAPEST CAR. I am NOT using it as a parts car anymore.

Oh, and it is off the trailer now and it has 365,000 miles!!!!!!!!

what a steal. Great job finding that car. I thought I got a good deal. I hope you restore it to its former glory.

Yeah love it... I did a similair thing with "Benny and the Jetsss" bought it for 650 had new fule injection system... various new fuel hoses filters and the like... didn't start still... towed it 90 miles home... AAA Plus rules !! for free... then got to work... on these Benz's you have to check the fuel sock (fuel screen) coming out if the tank cause it can have algea build up causing it to stall out unpredicably... I'm got all the parts so I'm on my way... keep in touch you rock
