When I first bought this car, I was 15 years old. This is how the car looked Bought it 11/29/07. I'm 17 years old now and still working on it! i'm going to try to keep this page to what I am going to buy/do or what I have just recently bought.
After a month or so I decided I needed to get the car somewhere that I could work on it so I put it in the backyard lol my mom was so pissed, especially cuz once it got back there it dumped all it's oil hahaha. was early january '08
After a year of being in the backyard I finally got it out! although it's going to shop cuz I've spent too much time trying to get it to turn over lol.
As of 5/2/09, I've driven car quite a few times, (usually just like 5min trips) Although it's running rich, can't get that fixed until I get the wiring fixed for the cold start valve, and for that i've been procrastinating lol
Also I bought half of my suspension stuff, and im drained of money lol Just purchased Eibach Progressive Performance Springs (lowers 1" to 1.5") and 4 Tokico HP Performance Struts off thezstore.com as bundle for $517.37 shipped. Starting to look/apply for jobs, so I can buy the rest of my suspension which is MSA sway bars, and their master polyurethane bushing kit. Springs and Struts should be here Monday or Tuesday.
So I have been having a ton of problems with the current NA 2.8L Inline Six, and after researching a bit. I decided that an engine swap would properly fit my issues lol. As funds allow i'm still going to get my current engine into proper running condition. Then after some saving i'm going to being putting in an LS1 with a 6-Speed manual. With the JCI parts, and having to buy a donor car (cuz it's cheaper than actually buying the engine and tranny lol who would have thought) I figure I can get everything done under 5k including exhaust. Although most of the price lies in how cheap I can find a donor car. I'll post some updates when I get there.
