this is my other baby, the 65 poncho, she is just the base model, no options or aminities and just a plain old column shifter with bench and good ol wire caps lol (the grandpa edition) 389 2bbl but she fired up after 10 year of resting under a pine tree, not to mention after the new distributor, plugs/wires, points, ignition coil. she love to run but i gotta figure out where to find the throttle linkage and she needs all new brakes. and some pretty esxtensive body work, but besides all that she is my little gem lol i think i'm gonna take the sleeper route with it, pretty much stock other then brakes whels and engine, but who knows how long that will take.

Hi There, As you can see from my avitar, we have a 66 Cat. Had it since 2003, have done extensive engine work since we got the car, the original 389 had a cracked block, replaced with a 76 400, painted the same metalic blue as the 389, so it is hard to tell. Just some FYI stuff suggestions to ponder. Mike put a HEI distributor in our motor, added an aluminum Edelbrock and a Edelbrock 4bbl Carb, that combo IMPROVED gas milage 25%!!!! That ol land yacht now gets better milage than my 350 in my Regal!!! Go Figure! A good source for body parts is Ames. Just go to www.amesperf.com and order a free catalog for full size Pontiacs. Reasonably priced, and I think they now have fender skirts for our years, saw you didn't have any, so in case you are wanting them..... As for the rest of our Kool Kat, in just a few weeks it is going to a well known customizer here for a 2" chop in the roof, the car them goes to the painter for a coat of serious metalic emerald green, and then off to the upholsterer for white roll and tuck interior, and new carpet we just haven't decided on what color yet, we are thinking either to match the car, or light silver. Good luck with this project, you will find once it is street worthy this car is gonna get some SERIOUS attention. Great styling and classic looks make this a real head turner. I will keep an eye on this one. Five stars here!!! Carrie

I discovered a travesty today. Two Porsche 914 in a junk yard sitting next to some burnt out Civics. It was sad.
