Just going to hang on to it for now....heres a little summary of my adventure with this car... I am offering my '89 Merkur Scorpio for sale or trade. I will go no less then 1500 or shoot me an offer. I paid 1900 for it in march of 07. This is a V-6 2.9 Liter, auto 5 speed trans. 4 dr sedan, hatch back. Consistently changed oil and had trans flushed and new fluid put in July of 07. No slip in trans or anything or any problem. Leather seats front and back bench seat. grey and black interior. I have done some body work to the vehicle. Including patches in rear wheel wells. both sides, When i bought the vehicle it had a deep scratch in the drivers side rear door. Fixed a deep scratch rear drivers side door. I've replaced several engine parts, the following to be exact; Starter, starter module, alternator, battery last week, plugs and wires aug of 07, fuel filter in sept of 08, water pump and belts in july of 08, just recently changed the Throttle Body Position Sensor..discontinued so it was 230, 30 being freight. I also have european headlight conversion kit. I've also replaced rotors and pads all the way around and the front R & L calipers. Also replaced flex plate that connects the drive shaft to the transmission. Low profile 14'' Chrome wheels. Tinted windows all the way around, Drivers side window was smashed out, i replaced that as well.. The stereo was also stolen.
