Here is my recently purchased V70-R. The car is 99.9% stock. It has only an aftermarket wood grain kit which I’d like to remove and restore to original. I have acquired, painted and installed a factory spoiler (not yet pictured). The previous owner had this car serviced by Volvo since purchased, full synthetic oil changes, and is very well maintained. He had new AWD unit, trannny, bg and rear driveshaft put in at 70k. Absolutely nothing wrong with this car when I bought it in September 2008. Now it is time for new strut mounts, bushings, and maybe an IPD sway bar kit. Engine and tranny are perfect! Honest 240hp & shifts

firm.  This V70 is my first Volvo, I paid a good amount for this car, $8000 and I thought it was worth it. My only complaint is the gas mileage... 19-22 mpg. I am in the process of removing the old, worn out clear-shield paint protectors (what a pain in the ass) Update: 5/2009, Koni adjustable (front), HD sway bar links, ure-strut mounts & new bearings, misc hardware. 150kmile tune-up, fluids, etc. Need tires...No problems! Update: The urethane strut mounts from FCP...  Gone in less than 2 months! Complete junk! Good news...apparently there's a class action suit against the manufacturer in which FCP is refunding in the way of sending out stock OEM mounts upon return of the defective ones, plus $100 check. Don't buy aftermarket parts for your Volvo unless they have been proven good elsewhere. IPD is expensive, but  I recommend IPD since I talked to them on the phone (yes, good old fashion phone-call ) I received great tech support info from them; it’s worth every penny for what they ask on most of what they sell.

top car there, i owned a S70R in this color, i regret selling it now, as i had it superchipped strut brace, cutom built 3" cat back system and a performance panel filter, get a set of 18" pegs on and it will look even better.

Wow, great V70! What a shine on that amazing saffron colour. It sounds like an exceptional car and the extra that you paid will be worth it in the long run. The gas mileage will probably improve once the novelty of the huge acceleration wears off a bit ;) 5 Stars!
