1987 Camaro IROC-Z

305 Tuned Port Injection   5 Speed

I bought this camaro in 2007, after a long standing desire to get back into a V8 car, something to cruz in and play with. It looked very clean, with only a few minor paint issues. I have never been a red car fan, but this dark metalic red caught my eye and I decided I had to have it. My wife was very suprized when I announced I bought a camaro, but has since warmed up to the idea, as she likes to cruz just as much as I do. Perhaps the biggest fan is my daughter Katie, who will go with me anytime I am in it.

The first months we had the car, Katie and I went to as many as 3 car shows a week. While fun at first, we got a bit tired of the many hours of just sitting around. We made some new friends and switched our focus from shows to cruz ins. We still have some shows we attend, mainly charity events with good causes.

  Here are a couple pics from the 2008 Res Life car show. It is one of the larger shows in the Grand Rapids area, and a good cause. It took us close to 4 hours to make our way around this one, there were many very cool cars there.

  We still hit shows were many of our new friends go, like the late summer Holland Michigan show. Besides, the cruz to Holland is fun too.
