I have upgraded the receiver of the car with this new pioneer deh-p7600MP very nice.i love the great control of the music that you can do with these and all the fancy little displays it has. These are some pictures of the system i have installed on my car.i put in some 5 1/4 2 way pioneer speakers up front for some nice highs. For the back of the car, i installed some kenwood 6x9 3 way speakers for the mid bass.without the cover. for some better sound out of these speakers, i installed four bass blockers since i already have all the bass i need from the subs. These are my 2 12" Kenwoods. They are very strong, and give a lot of good bass. This is the old setup i had, it is a lightning audio amp ( a cheap rockford fosgate ), it is not that strong but it packs a punch compared to some other stronger systems out there especially since i am running it bridged.( notice the clean install, no wires hanging out loose )And here are both of them(the red thing is used there because i kind of speed a lot and the box moves around a lot, so i put that there).I have now changed the amp to a rockford fosgate and rockford fosgate capacitor. Now i have 300 watts rms to both subs and 900 watts peak power, nice and loud. This is a pic of the capacitor, it is a 1.0 farad punch cap. With the new amp, I have a remote bass knob wired to be right next to me so I can pound harder anytime I want.I tried to take a picture of how much bass these subs give, but it did not come out good.( These two things usually dance and vibrate when I am pounding to something ) On the picture that shows the front of the car. If you look closely at the headlights, there is a piece of metal in each headlight(That is from all the bass and it made that metal come off).I cut out this big hole on the back of the seat for all the bass to come into the car.To everyone that has a system and cannot fold down the seat, I suggest you do the same, because it sounds almost twice as much bass with the hole. This is inside my trunk, you can see the hole I made, and I also took out this big piece of plastic that was behind the seats so more bass would get inside the car ( you can also see the factory amp on the top right)and the old amp on the bottom. i have upgraded all the amp wire to 2 gauge wire so it has more power.i am very proud of all my system because i did it all myself, all the wiring and installing and it was actually kind of fun.
