This is not my "daddy's" or my "boyfriend's" car.

My name is Valerie, I'm 24 years old and this black 2005 Mustang GT is my absolute pride and joy.  He is aptly named 'Spooky'.  I often shorten his name to 'Spook'.  His name comes from my extreme fondness for Halloween, skulls, skeletons and horror movies.

As you can tell, I'm not the type of girl that is into pink or other girly type things.  Spook is an extension of me, an extension of my personality, and I truly believe he was meant to be mine.  I would say it is a match made in heaven, but as much money as I've put into this car so far, my bank account would say it is a match made in the blackest depths of hell.

The definition of "true happiness" for me is to wake up as early as my body will humanly allow on the weekends, hop into Spook, crank him up, roll the windows down, go pick up my favorite uncle, cruise the backroads at around 50mph while listening to some good classic rock.  That, my friends, is the damn life.

These pictures were taken after Spook was lowered.  Looks a hell of a lot better, I think.

(Special thanks to my friends and fellow 'Stangers, Ryan and Matt for these awesome pictures!)

Last but not least, something I thought was worth putting up here.  Nothing too special since these rankings change by the hour(s), but it was pretty cool to see my own car ranked that high.

I was #1 out of the 85,000+ Fords on CarDomain, and #2 out of all rides on CarDomain which were 676,000+ cars at the time!  The date was July 10th, 2009.

Yeah finally getting the exhaust, got the FRPP Stingers, just waiting on the LT's and O/R X. As for installing them, it will be done whenever i have a day or two off. Oh yeah dude, i WILL have a very well made exhaust video put together when it gets all done up. It won't be the typical, let me sit there and rev it.. Don't get me wrong, i will have some of those in the compilation, but also flybys from the side of the road, in car cruising, in car WOT etc.. I will prob spend a few days on it and upload it to youtube.Brakes kick ass! They seem to slow her down a lot better AND it is so smooth! No pulsating of the shitty factory brakes.. Well worth the money in my opinion. So glad i listened to my neighbor!Good to hear you and the ride are doing good, congrats on the job change- i start my new job tonight as well! I am stoked, b/c it will be a lot better money but also nervous b/c its all so new. I gotta check out the pictures of your new stuff, and i feel yah- moneys tight here too, that is why i pushed for a new job. As long as you can keep the car, who cares about modding further! Yah know? In time, you can get what you want. I went from $4300 saved, i am down to $1600 b/c of bills and car payment/insurance/gas.. Happened so fast, although it took FOREVER to save up that much money. To think i was so close to a blower..oh well! The car is fun to drive, the new exhaust addition will be AWESOME.
