This is the first of the set of trucks we drug home, thinking "oh yeah this will be a breeze". yeah right. This one is a 283 #'s matching not running over rusty truck.

Just a view from the back end. We were hoping we'd have it together and running by 2007, and two years past 07 shes still in pieces. This one and a '56 shell come out of Westlock Alberta.

We took some parts into "Kings Classics" to get done. Both front, inner and outer fenders, Hood, and some small brackets and bracing parts. That cost us just under $10,000. So we said HOLY $H!T we can't afford this. We bought our own MIG welder and some body tools, figured we give it a try ourselfs.

So we then found this one in Rockey Mountain House. It was a six changed out to a 283. And changed from a 3 in the tree to a 4 on the floor. The body seemed much better but it is a long box. and again this truck was not in running condition.

The cab corners were gone, found lots of bondo on her, the box was in really good shape, This one now lays in pieces all over Dad's garage. We would some day love to see her on the road, But, money, time, and a lack of body work experiance is holding us back.
