This is an Australian assembled Chevrolet Statesman; same as a Holden Statesman but running factory fitted 350 & TH400.
This has had a full ground-up rebuild, full panel & paint & fully reco'd 350 chev.
I removed the Salisbury diff & replaced it with a Ford 9". I then fitted a new Detroit locker running 3.25 gears & fitted a Wilwood disc brake kit.
All the suspension is adjustable Koni's & King springs. All the old bushes have been renewed with Nolathane ones.
It's rolling on 17x9.5" Motoform Sektas with 275/40/17 tyres on all four corners.
The 350 has been bored +30 & fitted with Kieth Black pistons & a moly ring set. Stock rods were pollished & shot peened before being fitted with ARP bolts. A custom ground hydraulic cam was fitted along with a double row roller timing set & a set of Harland Sharp roller rockers. Heads are stock 461 fuellies. It runs a Weiand intake with a 750 v/s Holley & a Mallory twin point dissy. The Hurricane headers flow into a single 3" system with a 40 series 2 chamber Flowmaster muffler.
I had the bumpers straightened & re-chromed & a new vinyl roof fitted. The interior is still the standard Brocade cloth.
