Red / Blk 1973 Mustang Mach 1, 351C 4 V with Detroit Locker 9" trac-loc posi rear end, C6 transmission with B&M HoleShot 2400 converter.

Very unique roll-down crank rear windows (all 71-73 Mach 1s came with stationary rear quarter windows unless optioned with electric windows).

New parts/rebuilt as follows:
Brand new 3" exhaust system with Hooker headers, Flowmasters with resonators & new exhaust tips

New 17" black Bullitt rims & pony caps

New grille (71-72 version)

New fan/shroud, new 181 degree thermostat, new Interstate battery, new alternator, new starter (insulated).

New Holley 4V dual pumper "Avenger" 680 carb.

MSD ignition, new dist cap & new upgraded plug wires

New fuel pump & new gas tank

New master cylinder/power unit

New wiper motor

New shifter linkage

New gauges professionally inset into existing dash/console

14" Grant rally steering wheel

New Pioneer stereo head unit with IPOD connector

New pony floor mats

New front driver & passenger seats from Procar Elite

Re-covered rear seats and newer carpet

New glove box

4 new speakers mounted in rear - 2 near rear seats & 2 on upper rear deck

New flip down/early Mach 1 style gas cap

Front fender grille vents with 351 emblems.

AC (not installed at the moment), power steering &
brakes

New Racing mirrors - both with remote control

Need to see if something neat can be done to the antenna. The antenna is original (I think) and it's not possible to dismount or lower it, so my carcover dosn't fit .....Any ideas ? Would perfere to replace antenna, but with something that reuse the existing holes. And of cause it should be able to be removed...

Since I recently purchased a 1972 Mach 1 (August 09) I wanted to create a place where other Mach 1 owners had a place to call there own from around the world! I searched the net trying to find a place that was pretty much exclusive to the Mach 1 and found that there isn't any. What we hope to accomplish with this site is to have all available information and tech info for the Mach 1. There are a lot of Mustang websites on the internet but this is the place to gather all the Mach 1 information in one place! Come Join The Club! Mach1Club.com Please feel free to list your website on our site as well! SWEET MACH 1 BTW!!!

To 1972_mustang First off all - I must admit that I have just bought the ride, so it's the previous owner (some guy in Maryland I think) who did it all. I'm not sure that the console holding radio and additional meters is original. Looks like the radio fits very well - using standard DIN fittings that usually comes with the unit. And no - the mirrors is not mounted yet, but are similar to the ones one the picture - I only hope they fits better - driverside is tilted on the one mounted now. And the remote control hardware is missing.
