At last...an NA! britracinggreen's 1996 Mazda Miata This is a 1996 Eunos Roadster VR-Limited Combination 'B'.

britracinggreen's 1996 Mazda Miata This is the most up to date pic I've taken.

She was one of only 800 made. She was imported into New Zealand in January 2004, and I took delivery as the first NZ owner in March not long after being an import there too.

It has a 1.8 engine and has lots of limited edition extras including an LSD and standard factory fitted front and rear brace bar.
She's also got a green roof which is really nice and a little bit different.

I've owned 3 MX-5 models and you'll see the other cars later in these pages. First was a 1999 1.8, and then I owned a 2002 1.8iS. All have been BRG (or 18J Racing Green Mica (NB) and 11Q Excellent Green Metallic (NA) if you want to be technically correct).

I always liked the styling of the MK1...those pop up lights and beautifully designed door handles are just perfect for the car. However, the safety net of a 3 year mazda warranty always lured me to the 'dark side'!

As it's only early days with the car, I've not managed to change much except adding my faithful old Voodoo Knob, and I've advanced the ignition to 14 Deg.
As an update to this...she's now fully synthetic and running as smooth as silk on 98ron. As you can see, I've added the obligatory chrome bits and changed the orange lights and reflectors for clear. They tidy up the profile I think. I also fitted a Mazda chin spoiler as I felt the nose was a bit weedy looking, particularly as the mouth is barely visible against the dark colour. A New and shiny grille was the next addition, made locally by a club member!!
