im aware of that,but i did hear that the ecu fit in,for whatever reason,goodluck finding it though if you ever try to lol...so you're going to swap in the tiburon engine and tranny? how much you figure?

what kind of swap you going for? i heard a while ago the Evo ECU fits on the optima since they used old mitsubishi engines [sirius II]

don't waste your money on a engine and tranny swap,i loved my optima to death,but the car has too many cheap parts and doesn't handle mods well,just some friendly advice.
