"BARN CAR"
This is my 1929 Ford Model A Town Sedan. It was purchased as an unfinished late 1940's or early 50's project. It's pre hot rod era look was weathered due to sitting ouside for many years. The engine had not ran in over 50 years. The vanilla primered body and white chasis rusted up, beyond restoration. The interior was never installed. It was purchased from a hot rod fabricator who had too many other projects, and sold it to my father and I for a good deal.

EXTERIOR:
The Body and Chasis are original. The body and fenders were rattle canned flat black, front axle and banjo rear end were sprayed Chrysler red. The 1930 bumpers were sprayed silver.

I handpainted the flames on the front and rear fenders. License plates are mint. An extra Duolamp and skull turn signals were added. Exhaust tip is a Pilot Motorsport.

The custom 1940's galvanized roof was stripped and cleaned. Windshield frame is an unknown from the 1920's that was chopped and fitted with plexiglass. The mirrors are Grote. Wiper motor is a Trico and the arm is an Anco, both are from 1947. Dice were fom my Grandpa.

Modern halogen driving lights were mounted in the original headlight baskets. The quarter windows have vintage style decals.
The 1930 radiator cap came with an early Model T Boyce Motometer. Thats why I bought it. Both are remakes. I hope to get some motowings for it soon.

The body ribs were outlined with a red paint pen. Fancy closed car handles are actually chrome plated brass. The car rolls on 1935 Kelsey Hayes rims with original V8 caps and 1950's beauty rings.
The running boards will be covered with stainless this summer. Hope to get some new tires also. They're close to 70 years old!
