This is my 6. I purchased a full FE3N setup - FE3N engine, 5-speed transmission, wiring harness & ECU! I got a pretty good deal on it, and it only had 41K miles on it.

Here is a pic of an extra Euro gauge cluster I have for sale. It redlines at 7K, and even better, is in mileage! I'll sell it for $50 shipped to the 48 lower states.

FE3 off the truck.

Valve Cover Removed

FE3 with Valve Cover & Heat Shield Painted and ready for install.

Other than the paint, I've replaced the plugs, wires, gaskets, oil filter, timing belt, water pump, and thermostat, prepping the engine for installation.
Check out the old school hoist to get the F2 engine out!

FE3 Mounted and ready for rewiring

For those of you thinking about this swap, I DO NOT recommend it unless you are an expert, or know someone who is very good at wiring. Or, you can just buy a stand-alone-ecu. I have some diagrams available if you're interested, as well as a CD manual with a lot of info. I wanted pure N/A FE3, so I kept the FE3 wiring harness and ECU, and it was a pain to install. The harness appeared to be ready for a car with ABS, AWD, and possibly turbo. There were a TON of extra wires. I had a buddy do the install and he was a magician. He almost had to rebuild the harness but he got it working. Everything from the power steering, A/C, and cruise control work GREAT! Here are some wiring nightmare pics:

The exhaust didn't match up either, so it had to be drilled and custom fitted. This will be remedied soon with a high-flow cat and headers.

Here's my engine bay after a week of hard driving with the FE3 at redline. Believe me, this engine loves to rev high and hard. I hit 130 MPH on a lonely road in the middle of Idaho. I was shocked at the power put out by this little 2.0. The only trouble is that my 4 dr. DX is an absolute tank. It just weighs too much. If I could shed a few hundred pounds, it'd be a little screamer.
