NEW RIMS ARE ON!

Hey, I am a Camaro Enthusiast! I fell In love with Camaros when I was a little kid and got my first Camaro when I was 18. Im 27 now and on my 5th Third Gen Camaro. Yes I've owned a few and sold a few, and wish I wouldn't have. This Camaro im putting on this page has a special Meaning to me. Before I go on though, here is a picture of my 1989 RS Camaro.

This is my 5th, 3rd gen Camaro I have Owned
Now, Back to the Story. Back in 2000 When I got my first Camaro I was 18. Now at the time I was driving a Ford Ranger (yuck!) One Day I was Driving home and Saw a Blue 1989 IROC-Z sitting on the side of the road for $3500. Over The next few days I managed to talk the mechanic down to $2800. I purchased the car. My Friend Jesse owned a Camaro around the same time I did. This car thats on this page is that car he owned. Now this IROC-Z I owned, had also been owned by Jesse's Brother's wife. Jesse Later lost his Camaro due to DWI and his dad made him sale his car. I Later sold mine like a dumb ass:( Anyways in 2003 I started working at the company im currently at. Everyday when I cam into work I would notice this blue Camaro sitting in the parking lot and I always knew it was Jesse's old Camaro. In 2006 I moved away for a short time and then after returning in 2007 I came back to the same job, they stuck me on a diffrent shift and this is where I find out who owns Jesse's old Camaro. His Name was Bob, and worked on the next shift after mine. One night I went into the break room and Bob was sitting there eating fixin to come onto his shift. I asked him if he was the owner of that blue Camaro and he said yes. I told Bob that if he ever wanted to sell the car come to me first and I would definatly purchase the car. That was in April 2007 and in April of 2008 he came to me and said I'll sell you the car. I was very Amazed and honored to get the chance to own such a great car. I purchased the car a few months later for the sum of $1500 and also found out that he had bought the car from Jesse. This car has been well taken care of and has many mods coming. Thank you and sign my guess book.
P.S more pics and pictures of my other camaros coming soon!
Okay so here is some more pics of when I first got the Camaro. This first page of my site will be all on when I first got the car. Thanks Again!

UPDATES ON THE 89 RS
So yeah, I've been working on the Camaro cleaning things up and fixin all the little broken things. Anyways, when I first got the car I had to clean the door jams and under the hood. Boy! What a MESS! I pulled out a half of a 16 gallon shop vac full of pine needles and leafs, he always parked under a tree. LOL. Other then that Bob took pretty good care of the car like keeping up with the oil changes, spark plugs, wires. If stuff broke or needed replaced, he did it. He even kept a little book with what he done to the car and the miles of when he did it. Now to my amazement theres one thing that he didnt do that still shocks me to this day. The front Brake were SHOT! It was crazy when you drove the car it pull to the right then a hard sharp turn to the left. It was Dangerous. So anyways I asked him about it and he said that they were bad when he bought the car and he didnt replace them because, he rarely ever hit any stop lights. (Remind you he bought the car in 2001 and i bought it in 2008, CRAZY GUY!) So anyways when I got the Camaro I replaced the Brakes, Calipers, Rotors and wheel Bearings. Cost me around $200. Drives Great now. Ive also recently replaced the exhaust because it was rusted through, its alot quiter now. I had to replace the alternator, and the thermostate. Right now im in the process of replaceing the intake manifold gasket. Now I know that I should probably go ahead and through on a Performance Intake but right now I cant afford it. So I took the Intake to work and cleaned all that black nasty paint off it. Looks Pretty good. Ill Have a Pic on here soon. Im also Fixing the Hatch Pull Down Mechanism. It's a lot of work but itll be worth it. Neways I'll Have pics of this stuff soon for everyone to see. Thanks

Cell Phone Pics After I washed It.
UPDATE 2-8-09: I got the Trunk mechanism fixed. It goes up and down and works great. I also got the intake manifold fixed. No more water leaks.YEAH!!!!!! Oh yeah heres a pic of the intake manifold. took the pic with my phone. its the factory intake. and i sand blasted the black paint off it and the water neck. it looks pretty good. i know you probably are thinking (why didnt he just buy a performance intake. Well i didnt cuz im going to be putting a diffrent motor in and dont want to waste the money on this motor. so there you have it. LOL heres a pic

P.S. I cant really give you a pic of the trunk thing cuz its all inclosed....sorry
Update 2-9-09
Got some more work done to the car today. I finished putting the Hood on the car. I was In the process of changing the oil when i was underneath and noticed a wire up behind the front air damn. I said to my self what is that wire and where is it going. So i rolled my self out from underneath the car and looked through the front grill and what did i see. A set of Fog lights. I was shocked and then i was like i wonder if they work and where is the switch. so i looked behind the headlight switch inside the car and found the fog light switch and turned it on. They worked. Then i finished my oil, and proceeded to check my back brakes and they are bad as i expected. but luckily i had gotten new ones when i purchased the car thanks to the guy before me. :)
Update: 2-10-09
Okay so today I Fixed my brakes. Man what a job. Luckily I already had the brakes when I purchased the car. Rear drum brakes are a pain. My E-Brake now works though... Thats it for today.

Got my New TBI Injector Connector Pigtails from the junkyard today. Also got my Ignition Coil Connector pigtail as for it was broken also. 20 yr. old parts what do you expect. lol...Should be ordering my sub-frame connectors soon. Cant wait for that.....itll be awesome.
2-23-09
okay so today I made a tought decision. I did not order my sub-frame connectors. I decide to go ahead and replace all my bushings, trans and motor mounts, and torque arm bushing. I figure sence there all 20 yrs old it needed to be done. I ordered a kit from Energy Suspension and everything else i needed and it cost me $240. I really Hope its worth it. I ordered the Bushings in red to give it a more perfomance look under the car and because im going to be paintin the car black eventually. My parts should be here on the 26th and 27th. Ill Get pics and post them as soon as possible.
2-25-09
So today I found out some more news about my 89 camaro rs that i did not know. My buddy was out and about today and stopped to look at a car at a car lot. well it just so happen to be the car lot that Jesse (the former owner of the car before i bought it from bob) works at. So my buddy told him that i bought his old car. Well come to find out my car has a stage 2 chip in it., And possibly something else. im going to try to talk to him in the next few days myself and find out some more info. I will let you all know what happens.
2-27-09
I recieved my energy suspension parts today. Tommarow i will be installing my bushings. This ought to be interesting. I also got my tire fixed today. Had a nail in it and when i burned out the other night it made it go flat really quick...lol. o well ill make sure i get pics.
